How about a rubber mat? That would protect your floors also.
My mother had the same problem so she purchased a good quality rug with a non slip backing just a tad bigger than her chair to put the recliner on. She hasn't had the problem since.
Buy casters that you can fix not to move or take off casters and replace with feet.
thanks. I found nonskid pads and put it on my legs, didn’t want to use a rug for fear it would ruin the floor
