How do I organize my shoes?

I need to organize my shoes which are all flats, in a very small room with a very small closet.

There are many common styles of shoes racks, but most are designed to sit on the floor, which will not save you floor space. I would suggest that you put your walls to use as additional storage space. Here's one project posted here on Hometalk that uses pegs to hang up shoes .

Clear plastic shoes boxes stacked up. Flats might allow you to put 2 pair in each box.
Find or make a box that slides under your bed. A low dresser drawer works, too. Divide into sections with wood or heavy cardboard. Add casters for ease in pulling it out. If you move, it goes with you! You can also buy plastic bins with covers that will fit under beds.
