As with any railing you can use garland. You can plant shrubs. You can add decorative latticework. Hope this helps
You can put flower baskets at the end as well as the middle. And some sort of garland according to the season.
If ther is room add rail baskets with seasonal decor, summer real flowers, fall color and winter your choice.
Paint the ramp with a deck paint that is non-slip. You can get this at Lowes, Home Depot, Sherwin Williams. Tell them what you need and they can hook you up. You can also use an extended handle to help paint it.
Then on both sides add plants that compliment the house. You can use large pots or put them into the ground. I would choose perennials so you don't have to replant each year and don't forget the porch. Decorate it also. Make the ramp look more like a sidewalk than a ramp.
