Sandra, Not sure what area you live in. You can always plant purple fountain grass. I usually plant it in the spring and it grows really tall and full but doesn't come back the next spring, you could also use pompass grass. You could plant some sky pencils, type of evergreen that is thin and tall and planted close together forms a nice little barrier.
