What should I do with stone work in my backyard?

I just purchased this house and it has this stone work in the front yard. I'm not sure if I should tear it down or not. Any advise is greatly appreciated!

I think it's cool. Plant thing in it starting with the tallest in the middle going shorter to the edges. Put in a small bench facing out where you can take a break and enjoy the world outside. I say it's a keeper.

Keep it for sure. It adds some dimension to an otherwise flatish yard. It may just need cleaned up a bit to brighten it up. Or you could stain the mortar.

How about attaching it to the front door area with a flagstone path.

Try spraying with "wet & forget outdoor" and be patient. It will bring it back to life.

If it were mine, I would leave it. I like it and you can always remove it later if you don't like it but once it's removed, it's gone.

I would keep it and work off of it. Plant a nice decorative tree in the middle of it and put flowers around it. Make garden edging on both sides of the front door and a nice porch, steps and walkway to match it. Then put in shrubs (flowering and evergreen) and plant matching flowers around the shrubs.

I agree! It will make an awesome flower abed with no trimming around the edges.

Clean it out and then place blue plastic on the bottom. Surround the plastic with plants (elevate them first). Then place clear glass inside the plants arranged in circles or any shape you want. You will have a "pool" that will not need water and no mosquitoes will thrive in it. OR place a Bird bath in the center m, maybe even a fountain if you do not spending on electricity, Tearing it down would be hard.

I like the rock and having colorful plants would look nice. Will it fit into your vision of the front yard? Once you have been there a bit you may have a better feel for what you want.

I have this in my front yard. We've had to remove the birch trees that were in the center because they died but it was really pretty when everything was alive.
