Planting under oak trees in Florida
I live in Florida, I want to plant ground cover under my oak trees. With or without flowers.

In shady areas, you won't go wrong in hostas, in sunny areas low growing day lilies are nice.
Why would you not hollow out the stump and fill with planting soil and ferns, hostas, violas for color with something that drapes. You could add coordinating plants around the stump crating a lovely garden!
