Look in the dollar stores, MIchaels, AC Moore, and as a last resort second hand stores.

I would concentrate on sourcing taller faux green leaf pot plants at first....used as a backdrop you can place various silk individual flower stems to introduce colour at the front, with a smaller row of faux plants at the lower edge, using individual stems for that too. Stores sell off their faux flowers every season, so make a point of buying them in each season, so that you can change your display every 3 months. By changing them out each season, you give the impression of real plants. It’s very effective.....so effective that my neighbours watered mine when I was unexpectedly taken to hospital! Lol! You can use this approach in hanging baskets, troughs and vases. Hope this helps.

Make sure you purchase artificial plants that are the same as those you'd buy live at your local nursery so people think they are real. Also, if you can, leave a few spaces open between the artificial plants to insert a few real plants --- their presence "blurs" the effect of real vs. artificial.
