The house is red brick with white trim and black shutters. The door is white with glass panels on each side. It also has a glass outside door. I would love to give it a new look with a coat of paint!

My house is the exact same color combination, but my front door is black like my shutters. I love it!

How about a pop of color? Paint is a cheap redecorating scheme and it is amazing how pretty a door can become. I'm wild about turquoise these days, but, have seen a lime green and a then a yellow door that were tempting. So far I've only done my mailbox in turquoise, but, everyone loves it!

PAINT the door YOUR FAVORITE color and two-tone the trim in black and white.same with the storm door. meaning: Most door frames are comprised of more than one board/section that goes all the way around the door. Tape off and using black paint, paint one section /board all the way around the frame. Let dry completely.Do a second coat.Let dry then pull tape. "Repeat"on next section using white paint...HINT: be sure to clean and let surfaces dry before taping... It is YOUR DOOR ...ENJOY IT!!!

Aqua or warm yellow are nice colors for a front door. How about a light shade of plum? What's your favorite color? Hint: if you are going from white to a bold color (red, blue, green) be sure to prime it with a flat gray first. It prevents multiple layers of painting and will bring out the richness of the color you choose.

Any light color will cover white with no problem. Best of luck.
