Suggestions for painting my concrete driveway?

I would like to paint my previously "feather" painted driveway! I have owned the property for 7 years and believe the driveway was previously painted years before that. It has never peeled so Im hoping that with good preparation I can paint over the existing paint with success. My plan is to presure wash, repair any cracks and paint with a concrete "paint with primer". I would like to achieve a sandy finish. Any suggestions?????

home depot has a sandy paint used for decks. Nice for decks but I would ask the paint guys about concrete.
Skip the paint with primer, it will fail in the short term, I am not a fan of them. You need primer and paint specifically formulated for concrete. How about staining instead? Head on over to a real, stand alone paint store, they are very knowledgeable and will be able to advise you the best.
I would love to know what you have now as whatever the previous owners used must be some miracle stuff!

We have purchased concrete paint with a sandy, non-slip finish at Home Depot and also at Lowes. Google their brands for this kind of paint and buy the one that's highest rated by consumers. Good luck!
