Pick a color you like?  Then get some samples at the home store and paint 1/2 a shutter and go from there.  Also u can go online and check out some other homes you find to your like and also use that as inspiration. Your home is so cute.  The new paint shutters w/pop and add some color to your pretty home.

Since you say beach, I would use that sea foam green/blue on the door and perhaps a companion color a little darker on the shutters!

check out Pinterest for ideas. i have a sm trailer too and im actually putting shutters on mine. Im making them myself from old pallets to give it an old rustic beach look :) 
i think doing the bottom skirt around trailer will help too :) i just love your questions & mr vans idea was great too, that was cool

Knowing you like teal, there are some great choices that Van did for you on the mock ups. One of our trailer houses was white with black shutters too! Brings back some good memories. Personally I like the black shutters because it relates to the shingles of the home and garden shed. I'd be more inclined to rethink the color of the deck railing. And then add in deck accessories/wall accessories and flowers that carry out whatever color your heart desires :-)

Love the teal but I wouldnt paint the whole door. Maybe the molding around it or something. The whole painted door looks tacky to me. Maybe just a few shades lighter too. Do you plan on painting the brown railing the same color also? Thats why I said a lighter shade.

we painted both the decks and the shutters same color...doors too and the bottom too. we did a lighter color on main part of the home. We're gonna get the three tiered roof to pull in both colors...

windows, the roof hasn't been done but we know what we want (three tier shingles in blues)

Still a work in progress. Needs windows, plants, and roof. The roof we want is the 3 tier shingle in blue..maybe google has some for ideas! Have fun!

Can you just paint the vinyl siding on the home and skirting or is there anything special you need to do? I'm quite tired of our plain while house and white skirting with faded green shutters....

Blue has hundreds of shades, and you can do a different shade on the railings & shutters to add interest
