The folks across the street from me own a paint store. They painted a single wide mobile home they use for an office a few years ago. I walked over and asked what kind of paint they were using. I was told it was regular latex. The key was a good prep job before putting painting. They pressure washed, sanded and hosed down the mobile first. It still looks good. -

I used E-B Emulsa Bond. I bought it online. It's a an exterior latex paint additive that improves adhesion. I have used it on two different types of siding and it has lasted completely for several years. -

From my experience there is no paint that will stay on vinyl siding for any length of time.
