Seal it with marine grade spar varnish or urethane.
Yup, William is right. Marine grade varnish will do the trick
So pretty I personally would hate to put it outside :-(
If that is a wood top, I would be very tempted to use at least 5 very thin coats.
The top gets the most abuse, and the rain will likely puddle on it a bit.
