The Garden Frog with C Renee on Jan 27, 2016The recipe I use 5 tablespoons Plaster of Paris, sample of paint (about a cup of paint in flat) I first put in a container 5 tblspns of Plaster of Paris and mix in 2 tablespoons of very warm water and mix into a smooth paste adding a couple drops of water at a time to get it smooth. Do not make it too runny. Then I add the paint and mix until well blended.Helpful Reply

Country Design Home on Jan 28, 2016The recipe I use: http://countrydesignhome.com/2014/02/25/colonial-country-cupboard/ The Plaster of Paris gives it the chalky effect but I believe the calcium carbonate (in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint) provides the bonding properties.Helpful Reply
