I have a metal, table that I want to paint. What prep should I do?

    If it is rusty or peeling,lightly sand ,clean and spray paint with Rustoleums 2X spray paint for metal.

    All you need to do is just was hit with an all purpose cleaner to remove dust and dirt, scuff marks, oil, etc. then rinse it really well and dry it. If it has rust on it a scrub brush dipped in some vinegar will take it off, and THEN wash and rinse down, and dry it. The vinegar may have to sit on it for 5 or 10 minutes before scrubbing, but I would try scrubbing with the vinegar first before letting it sit. That's about it.     As long as it's not rusty or flaky I'd just clean it really well and get some good Rustoleum paint!

    Sand, wash, dry and paint
