Paint it and add stencil patterns on top of the paint. Cover with contact paper.
I think Ombre can work on furniture. I found this example on Pinterest. I am sure there are many others.

You can ombre furniture.
Paint the stand three different shades of the same color.

Paint the top a dark color then the bottom in your funky color and add height by adding higher legs and this way you can add wallpaper to the back inside to make it pop📌
It looks to me like this stand has a very hard surface. Take a picture of it to the paint store. You may need to do some special preparation to it before you paint. Also this serves a utilitarian purpose (t.v. and storage) I could see a very special paint style on a plain piece of furniture but this one already has a "job"
