Depends on the type of paint and the material you want to paint.i have seen a lot of good posts for furniture painted with chalk paint, not if a sprayer would work, since it appears to be very thick paint.I would try a spray paint in a small spot to see the results before spraying your entire set.

I think regular paint dries hard and uncomfortable ... try and get some Rit fabric dye and paint it on or put it into a pray bottle and spray it on and use a wet paint brush to move the paint around

I love using my paint sprayer. It covers paint or stain better than using a brush or roller as it gets in all the corners, paints evenly, no runs. If I'm painting wood I use a high gloss house paint. I go to Home Depot, be sure to talk to the Supervisor of the paint department, let them know what project your going to be doing they are full of information.

@Mona Sometimes your craft store fabric paint can be stiff after drying. Do a Trial & Error method with different fabric paints & find something that will work & is good for you. I know fabric paint has changed a lot over the years. When I work with new paint, I get a old sheet from a Thrift store & do all the work outside........... testing new paints on the sheet. Hope this helps.
