What is the best way to paint my kitchen cabinets?
I want to paint my old kitchen cabinets and want to know what type of paint will hold up best? Do the cabinets need to be sanded? Can I fill the holes for the handles and get new handles?

Unless you use chalk paint, DEFINITELY sand. We sanded my mom's cabinets and paint suggested by Sherwin Williams (sorry, I don't remember the exact kind) and it already has nicks and peels a year later. I think we're using chalk paint when we do ours. If you do that, use a deglosser first (sanding isn't required with chalk paint.)
You should be able to fill the holes for new handles. Best of luck!
