What is the difference between using chalk paint or clay based paint?
-
Country Design Home on Jul 20, 2016Hi Marie! Any chalk paint will give you good coverage. But, if the original finish is high gloss, you will still need to sand it lightly to allow good adhesion. Plus, you then need to add a finish coat to protect it. How about some spray paint instead? The new ones provide great coverage and go on smoothly and easily. Just a little prep- clean and lightly sand- most of the new spray paints at the big box stores are primer and paint combined. Super easy, have beautiful, durable finishes.Helpful Reply
