Can I mix spray paint with wall paint?
I have a gallon of off white paint and 1 can of brown spray paint. I want to paint a small wall as an accent wall. Can the 2 paints be mixed to make the white paint a little darker. The wall is small and I would hate to buy another gallon and it sits around unused also.

No.
the gallon is likely latex, as in water based.
Spray paint is always oil based enamel.
Spend a whole $3 and go buy yourself a Tester Sample (8 Oz) of any brown paint you want. You’re worth it.
only if the white paint is oil base; to color water based paints you can use rit clothing dye, food coloring(red & green make brown) or buy a small tester size can of same kind paint to add/change color of paint in can.you can also get free paint at your local recycling hazardous waste centers
If they are both latex or both oil base paint, you should be able to mix like base paints together.
Certainly, if they are both acrylic or both latex. If you put the paint into the same paint can, you local paint or home improvement store should use their shaker to blend the paint for you. Then funnel a pint or quart into a sprayer bottle for paint. I have a plastic nozzle handle to help me spray longer. When you reseal the can, seal it first with plastic wrap, then the lid. Paint a dime dot of the color on the lid, and write the date on the dried dot or the label. X out any other dots of colors and dates. And post this project on Hometalk, please!
