why are you considering that???? if it's to protect it and you haven't waxed it then yes you can. And I would do a poly satin minwax varnish
I have used polyurethane and it worked fine
I agree! I've used satin polyurethane after reading horrors of maintainin wax!
Technically yes. But some sealers will turn yellowish over time when used with chalk paint. I've had the best luck, and easy cleanups with Minwax PolyCrylic satin (not sure about spelling, but it's nice because it's water based).
