Can you use Chalk paint over wallpaper?

We have used this paint on many different surfaces......with very good success.
Has anyone out there tried it on walls.......even over wallpaper?

Don't paint over wall paper. You or the next owner will hate you when it comes time to take it all off. And eventually it will have to come off.
I am not putting the wall paper on the. wall. I am using it for crafts. So can I paint the vinyl wall paper with chalk paint?
