No. In fact, if you prime the concrete, you can no longer stain it, since stain has to sink into what you are staining. However, if you are going to paint the floor, a primer like Kilz or Rustoleum is an excellent idea. The primer will help to keep any problems in the floor from showing through the paint later. After you paint, I recommend a sealer to keep the paint from wearing off too easily. Best wishes! ☺️
