Wrap in plastic wrap & put in the freezer if you are reuseing it with the same paint.
Perfect answer I was going to say the same thing than I saw your post LOL LOL!!!!!
It has always worked for me no matter the kind of paint or stains I have used.Wishing you luck and hope it works as well for you as it has for me.Sometimes I just toss it in a baggie and zip it up and in the freezer it goes.
