How to get paint off wood florring

Hi I have laminate wood flooring and was wondering how to get paint off the floor without ruining the laminate? Thank you

Hmmmm is it water based paint or oil based paint? For water / acrylic paint you can use a plastic scraper to chip it off then wash with warm water and Murphy's oil soap. No clue for oil based paint. sorry. Best of luck. -

I am a very bad girl, I scrape it off with my fingernail if it's a few spots. :( If you can do it relatively quickly, it probably hasn't cured yet, even though it's dry. latex and acrylic paints can sometimes be softened with application of heat from a blow dryer...a non stick type spatula or plastic putty knife is less likely to gouge or scratch the finish on laminate as you try to peel it up...razor scrapers are very iffy. -

A plastic scraper would probably chip it up and not damage the floor
