I'm at a lost for words.
How to pick a color to go with nifty turquoise??

I can't seem to get the picture where you can see the bottom. Everything are Nifty Turquoise and pure white.
I really need to do something with another color as well, don't you all think??
I have large white letters that spell FAMILY and I'm putting a clock under that for Family time! Please help me if you can.
Thanks Pat

Hi Pat, colors that work well with turquoise are orange, yellow, fuchsia and grey. Even chartreuse works! Be bold and have fun!
This color chart may help. It gives you different options.

Fushsia sounds really good, Janice.
Black. It makes a statement.
burnt orange
I love purple with turquoise
Bright red or hot pink.
Pick something that is a polar opposite of this rich and saturated color so it "pops". As for what color? Use one of the colors of an accessory you are using in the room (curtains, rugs, pillows) so that everything in the room is coordinated. If it was my room I would pick a soft yellow or peach. Stay away from anything blue or green, since the color you have is a mixture of the two and any other in that family may clash.
When searched Nifty Turquoise comes up as a Sherwin-Williams color. They have an online color visualizer, and you can upload the photo you used here to try on other colors. https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/try-on-colors
Reading through the suggestions made so far I liked painting the trim black. I also looked at how a complementary color might work, both as just for the rail trim, and to paint the area below the rail. I like those combinations, but it's difficult to match what I get on my photo program to actual SW colors. That's why I suggest you use their color visualizer.
I like a rich golden yellow with that color. :)
Well, Pat, you must be well and truly confused by this rainbow of suggestions. I encourage you to go to an art or craft store and buy a Color Wheel (cardboard circle with colors - $5.99). The wheel is what artists use to be sure they have the right color. You will see direct compliments, split, triadic and many more which will help you decide what will look good with turquoise. Turquoise is a mixture of blue and green with white added to lighten it.
I do think one of the above suggestions was right, though, to pick up a color in something else (cushion, throw etc.). I love the idea of your black furniture. I have black furniture, too, and it is a great grounding color. My couches are cream, walls avocado green, curtains, cushions, ornaments red/burnt orange. Good luck.
That sounds pretty together! I will get a color wheel! Also i think my problem is that I've always gone with light colors. Earth tone I guess it is. This is my first out there color for me. The room is 25x15 so i thought that I'd be brave and go bold. I do like the color that I picked. I've had a lot of reply's and I think I will come up with one of them. Thanks to everyone!
I would pick something in the yellow color family
