Citirstrip a safe non-toxic remover
This happens. What you should have done immediately after this occurred was to wipe down with water and a big car wash sponge, you could have wiped up probably 99% of it from the get go. Now I would use Citristrip, but more work as it will remove the cabinet finish too. Roll your sleeves up . . . So sorry.
Cover the tip of a screw driver with a heavy rag . Use whatever cleaner you are using and rub gently into the cracks.
We did clean up immediately, however the paint stayed in many of the grooves and the grain of the wood. Some of the finish came off, with the water removal. I will check into the Citirstrip. Here are the cabinets after we cleaned them up.
Use a small brass brush dipped in water first. Then try the Citristrip with the brass brush. Brass is soft and won't mar the wood much. You may need to seal the cabinets after the paint removal. A water based poly should work. At least three coats.
Try naptha or Oops.
