Have the same granite. I painted beige- your cabinet color may make a difference though.
I had similar tops in my old kitchen. I put Sherwin Williams "white raisin " color on my walls. Its a yellow .
If you want to showcase the counter top, go with the same color as your cabinets. If you want to showcase the cabinets, I would go with a color from the counter top, but not too dark as that would probably darken the kitchen too much. Myself, I would want the countertops to stand out if I had a choice between the two. If I could afford nice counter tops like that I would want them to stand out.
I think you may need a pop of color. I would head for my local paint store and pick up lots of paint chips. Bring them home and see which match both your counters and the cabinets. when have narrowed to down to two or three choices, tape them to the wall for a few days. The right choice will soon become apparent.
Good luck and have fun!!
i think the 3rd from the left on the color strip...it should keep the area from getting too dark. however, many of the color strips fade from the lights in the display. find the tester vials, paint apiece of foam core board or similar and let it sit propped up for a few days on your counter. you can repaint the foam core a few times.
I would go a couple of shades darker for contrast.
I'd go with pale grey myself for a nice contrast and it would be easy to decorate
The granite counters are beautiful. Go to the Sherwin Williams website. They have an application where you can apply various color palettes to your virtual room to see what would look good. I have had success with it in the past. Good luck and have fun!
I'd do light creamy off white
The foam core are ment for presentation displays...I had found them at Wally World and hobby shops.
I would go with a contrasting color, like peach or a light green kinda a mint color
I know this will sound odd, but try getting some of the orange paint samples. And toss that taupe sample in the trash, it clashes with the granite.
Third from the left.
i like the single swatch but the countertop would work with many less traditional colors dont be afraid to experiment.. I love the clear sticky sheets purchased at Home Depot or other paint stores that you can use to cover a section of wall and try different colors.
I would do a non-neutral color. As suggest above, get some paint swatches. Our cabinets are white, our countertops are a brown travertine color, but we painted our walls Sherwin Williams Quench Blue and have red curtains. Everything ties together and looks lovely!
