I would like to spray paint pvc piping will it adhere?

I want to construct a big wall sculpture using the pipes sprayed gold silver and copper. Can you suggest something other than pvc that would have the same look as different heights of candles?

Use Krylon infusion spray paint for plastic or Rustoleum 2x spray paint for plastic.

PVC will take paint. You would need to wipe down the pipe with mineral spirits to remove the print, oil, and grease from the manufacturing process. Lightly sand to remove any shine and roughen the surface. Then prime with KILZ, BIN, or Zinsser primer. Then you can paint The primer will seal the surface and your finish color will be more vibrant. Love to see what your project is. Can you post it here on Hometalk when you start. Sounds interesting.

If you are trying to make a temporary structure for Holiday or party etc. use the round pool noodles from the dollar store and spray paint. They can be slid onto dowels adhered to a base. Permanent? I'd stick with PVC.
