I used Annie Sloan white chalk paint and wax. Why does it look yellow?
It looks like either the wax turned it yellow, or maybe something bled through. How do I fix it? Thanks for your help!
RustOleum would be my go to but you will need to prep the bucket in order for it to adhere. Most galvanized have a protective coating. I think white vinegar will work.
If you're using it as an indoor decoration I would use a milk paint or acrylic. For outdoors use either Krylon or Rustoleum spray paint.
Paint it white, then use a bit of sandpaper to rough up the finish so that some of the metal shows through.
