Lime greenand any shade of orange.....from dark burnt orange to light.....also red is inhanced by green. Any shade of yellow.
It depends on what your painting myself I would like a darker blue with the green
I would say, look outside - so many things go with Moss! It really is a matter of what feels good and looks good to your eye. That being said, I think my choices might be Navy Blue or A very pale yellow.
burgundy, pink, yellow, orange, lime green or blue..best to use a color wheel and see what compliments the green
Quick lesson in choosing colors:
General guidelines when choosing coordinating colors are to choose colors adjacent on the color wheel (analogous) or opposite on the color wheel (complementary.) Of course there are many factors that influence these choices. All colors are made up by mixing the primary colors red, blue, and yellow. A tint is a color plus the addition of white (think pastels); a shade is a color plus black; tone is a color plus black and white. When you want to tone down your pallet, add grey (black plus white.)
Most of these concepts apply to the mixing of colors, as an artistic painter would do. Decorating is a little different as you are also doing several things such as:
· Considering important existing design elements like an expensive rug or piece of artwork,
· Evoking a mood or tone (exciting and energizing , calm or moody, or any of these with surprising pops of color)
· Preference for monotone pallets (choosing colors that are all tints or shades of the original color or lots of neutral whites, greys, or browns)
Moss green is one of those wonderful colors that are also considered neutral, as it is so prevalent in nature.
So, there are no actual rules when choosing colors and the color police will not come to you house.
My personal preferences with a color like moss green (depending on all the other factors discussed above) are terracotta (think flower pots,) lemony yellow (but not on whole walls), robin’s egg blue, and lime green. Spend some time at the paint department…find the color closest to the color you want to match and place the chip next to lots of other colors and see what you like together. You may be surprised and could be attracted to lavender, pink, turquoise, or navy with your green.
