What kind of paint do I use on a faux brick backsplash?
I have a faux brick backsplash in my kitchen, which I cannot remove without damaging the wall behind it. I decided to paint it, but I’m not sure what kind of paint to use. Any advice?

You need something that is scrubbable. I really like RustOleum enamel paint but you can't paint over it with latex paint in the future. Also, color choices are limited.
Outdoor latex paint should work fine. Go to Home Depot or which ever paint store you go to and the sales people should be able to help you out!
An acrylic paint should adhere well. The best thing would be to remove it and tile. Next best option is to prime it with Kilz and then almost any paint should adhere just fine. Full acrylic wall paint is very durable and so is latex enamel.
A chalk based or mineral paint would adhere great. I'd seal with a water based poly. :)
Check with your neighborhood paint store. The last time I was at a Sherwin-Williams they had a product that looked like it would work for this.
