How do I seal chalk paint without having it yellow?
Hello everyone, I painted some dining room furniture with Rustoleum chalk paint and I don't know what to use to seal it. I know Rustoleum makes one, but most of the reviews that I've read say that it yellows. Does anyone have any experience with using this or have any suggestions on what I can use? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! 😊

Everything yellows in time dear if you do not maintain it. So just get the Rust-o-leum Sealant and follow the Care instructions on the can.
on small projects i use, decopauge glue
You use wax. You can buy it in the chalk paint section. Just do two coats and redo about once a year. Pretty easy and inexpensive. 😉 good luck!
Yes, wax is the way to go to preserve the color. I’ve used it on several projects for years now and the color looks as good as day one. Make sure you touch it up every few years or so.
