I put a plastic layer of gold color bottle glass pattern on bedroom windows getting strong sun. It’s been there years, anchored by slender molding painted to match window. Top is unattached to allow for cleaning as desired.Muffles outdoor sound, helps maintain heat and cool in rooms.Helpful Reply -

Neighbor put plastic decorative sheet on large kitchen window, birds 🦅 and butterflies 🦋very attractive. Should cling to skylight too. Tack or tape?Helpful Reply -

You can buy window tinting (like what is applied to auto windows) that block light and heat. Just follow the directions carefully.Helpful Reply -

Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
