Can you paint old stainless steel breadboxes/canister sets?

    Oh yes, now that they have these fantastic New spray paints for metal. At HomeDepot I found the colors are so many to choose from. Very little prepping too.

    You can use Rust-oleum spray paint works really good. They have a spray primer and then use the spray paint. They now have spray chalk paint which I tried and it worked pretty good

    If you think they might ever be used for food, be sure to get all of the rust out of the insides, paint the insides with a non toxic paint or leave the insides rust free and dry. Then spray with a couple of coats of non toxic sealer. (I have used putty in the crevices and seams as you would grout before painting and sealing.)

    If you search Amazon, eBay, or other sources, you may find replicas of old decals that would fit your style. Best wishes 😇
