How to paint over glass mosaic backsplash?
You can paint glass; just use a paint that specifies glass. Krylon has a new sea glass spray that's interesting. Buy a can and experiment on a piece of melamine art board (bought at an art store). If you don't want to try the sea glass, whatever you decide on, practice on a piece of art board before you tackle the backsplash. Get your technique down before the job. And be sure the tape off everything. Proper prep will make you happy with the finished job. Good luck.
Yes! Here's a great blog that tells and shows you how. http://rosabeltrandesign.blogspot.com/2013/02/diy-painted-tile-backsplash.html
You could also cover with contact paper and gain a variety of looks with no worries about washing them down.
