At least three coats of a water based polyurethane. Use a foam roller and foam brush for a smooth finish.
Yes, unless you are doing a distressed look. The right finishing coat will keep the paint from fading or chipping easily. 😇
Poly coatSSS. Otherwise, whatever you put on the dresser will stick.
Water based poly does not yellow. Oil based gives a yellow tinge and yellows over time.
I gently use a green Scotch Brite pad in between coats to smooth it out. Wipe the dust off with a damp cloth.
