Do i sand furniture and then paint?

    I'm not sure what "it" means. If you saw a project and are asking about it here in the general question area, my guess is yes. If the project is wood then it's a definite yes, unless you're using Chalk Paint, then the answer is no. Wishing you the best & Happy Holidays.

    Yes, need to rough up surface prior to application.

    Yes....for most items, you will want to sand them to remove any previous paint or finish...then apply paint. This way, you will end up with a smooth finish.

    YES - you must get the old paint off, and out of the way, before you put on a new coat of paint. Be sure the weather is pleasant, and not damp, or raining, for this will make a diff in drying. Do put papers under the item, in case of accidents., for this will help you. Best wishes, J.

    Depends on what it is. Most of the time you do have to sand except when using chalk paint...
