How can I easily get rid of yellow tiles in my bathroom?

It's a small bathroom and the walls were painted yellow to match the tiles Including the ceiling. So sick of yellow. I can't afford a redo of the bathroom but wondered if painting the tiles will work?! I would like a nice look. Some painted tiles look awful. Or should I paint the walls to tone down the tile colour?!

I agree with Janet! Start with painting the ceiling and walls. Display different colored accessories, towels. -

I've painted bathroom tiles at one time. Just made sure they were sanded enough for the paint to adhere. Painted them white, they looked quite nice. -

I would purchase paint for tiles, have had good results in the past, I have white tiles in my bathroom goes with everything.
