How Can I paint an oak kitchen table that has water stains?

Hi John. I would sand the table. It is hard to get the water stain out, so I would paint it or do a paint wash where you mix water and paint and apply like a stain. If you want a solid color prime first and then paint.Helpful Reply -

Sand the table thoroughly to remove any existing finish, then use a good quality primer prior to paintingHelpful Reply -

Yes, sand and use a good primer. Then you can repaint any color you want.Helpful Reply -
