How can I paint OSB flooring?

Hi, we have ripped up the carpets and a looking to create a minimal space by painting the walls white and the OSB flooring dark. I want a clean, sharp, simple "Japanese" look.

Such cool flooring! For this job you'll want to use a good primer- acrylic latex stain-blocking primer will hide any stains on the OSB, and will seal the paint and prevents any bleed-through. A block-filler primer will fill in the gaps between strands of wood, thereby giving it a smoother look. Apply two coats of primer and allow it to dry completely before painting with an oil based paint. Good luck! Cant't wait to see how it turns out!

what do you mean by "block filler primer"? Are you referring to 2 different primers when you say "stain blocking" and "block filler"? I am in this same situation with a USB bathroom floor that I want to paint. Thanks.

I'm guessing the OSB flooring is actually the subfloor. There is supposed to something on top of it.

Carpet or other flooring. I've installed the snap together laminate flooring which is made in many styles. Maybe one of them is what you are looking for. It is easy to do. It can be floated which means it feels soft when you walk on it or applied directly to the subfloor. Bamboo tile. Ceramic tile. Vinyl tile.
