No good way to paint plastic that is in continual contact with water. Several companys claim to have a product that works but all will fail in a couple of years.

I actually agree with Daniel on this one because plastic of that kind is not very "solid" it is very hard to get paint to stick to it and STAY there.

Yes I have scrubbed mine with TSP and thoroughly cleaned it and let dry for 2 days then I used Rustoleum XXX spray paint which is made for plastic and does really cover well
There is a paint designed for bathtubs, but I haven't been thrilled with the results, either.
