Remove doors and hardware (label them to know where they go afterwards); clean grease or dirt; sand - lightly, if in good shape or not real shiny); prime with oil based primer such as Kilz (2 coats); paint with oil based paint (2-3 coats); let it dry completely in between each coat and lightly sand if needed to keep smooth. Big job and don't paint in temperature under 50 degrees.Helpful Reply -

I recently did mine went to Lowe's got a primer sealer paint removed doors and didn't have to sand just apply it unless really grease on it. Let it dry and apply your finish coatHelpful Reply -
