Stain it darker, but that's just what I would like.
I also had crown molding on my white cabinets that was stained kinda dark. I recently painted mine white and I really like it. I think it gives it a fresher look.
Honey oak color is quite warm and easily associable with several colours, especially white or light colours. And, if you paint it white, you'll see more often dust and grease. It's esealy visible on white or plack than wood colours.
And, it depend the ambiance you like. Painted will make it look modern. Natural wil make it look stylish. It's up to you now...!!!
