Should I paint hinges to match my kitchen cabinets?

Hi! I am painting my cabinets white or light grey (working that out still). I currently have retro hinges but would like to "hide" them without installing new hidden hinges. Do you think I could paint them white (or grey) to help them blend in better? My hardware will otherwise be black, so I'd rather they just not stick out that much. Has anyone done this? I would love to see pictures.

Hi Naomi, painting them the same color as your cabinets will definitely make them less visible and blend them in so you do not notice them as much. I have spray painted mine to help them blend in by using the same color.

How to paint cabinet door hinges?
I tried to find a picture with white cabinets and white hardware but it seems everyone wants theirs to stand out. I do not live at the place where I did it or I would take a pic and show you.
I don't have a picture, but if you don't like the way the hinges look, then I would say that it's best to paint them to make them blend in a bit. If you like the style of the hinges, I don't think it's bad to make them stand out.
