I put luan board wood instead of dry wall, any ideas how to paint it?

Mix drywall putty in with paint and you will get a soft textured look. Works better with a longer brissell rollerHelpful Reply -

Lightly sand and then put on a good sealer. After that, paint. You can get paint with sealer already in it. DonnaHelpful Reply -

Prime with a good stain blocking primer like Zinsser 123 or BIN. Then paint like any wall. Not going to question why luan!Helpful Reply -
