Looking for paint suggestions for wood trim & doors

We want to paint all of the doors, balusters & trim in our house. Currently everything is the golden oak stain with a high sheen. We started with the guest room. Sanded the doors & baseboards but not the trim around the doors. We used 2 coats of Zinzer Primer & 2 coats of Valspar Signature paint. It looks pretty good but I worry about the durability. We have kids & pets so there will be cleaning & general wear. Looking for painting tips & paint suggestions for durability.

Use a deglosser on your stained trim before priming and a clear protective coat after the paint for increases durability.
