Hi Janet...tks for your response. I am not really sure..maybe some sort of cultured granite or something as it was installed about 18 years ago...there are some chips on it and soap stains. Too expensive and messy job to replace it. Tks Bhupinder

Literally, the easiest is with a roller and can of paint that you already have.

I have to ask why one would paint over a stone countertop? If you want something more durable, it is less easy.

Hello Ken...thank you for this reply. It is a sort of cultured granite top...not very sure as it was installed about 18 yrs ago. The stone has chipped in some parts...which I would have to fill up...and there are soap stains. It is a huge stone piece and replacing would be expensive and messy. Yes, I am looking for something more durable but like a do it yourself, if possible. Perhaps my question earlier was not phrased correctly. Anything you can suggest would be helpful. Tks, Bhupinder
