I use behr primer first usually 2 coats than behr indoor / out door flat paint
Usually 3 coats of paint. Make sure paint is dry between coats
Primer...then paint. Kilz is good,I am not a big fan of acombo primer/ paint ..I would rather do 1-2coats of primer,on new Sheetrock..wallboard..then follow up with latex or acrylic paint. Your Lowes or HDepot person can give good direction.
Primer first then regular house paint. One coat of primer is usually enough.
Primer - then Emulsion Paint for internal walls.
