A clay based paint, not found in typical hardware stores.
Egg shell base. its washable but not a lot of sheen. so it will tone down the texture.

In my 1926 home I used a satin finish. The walls are highly textured and would collect dust. Easier to wash the walls down when needed. The slight sheen also bounces light around the rooms.
Go to Sherwin Williams, they are the experts and always very helpful.
