I agree with William. We have been able to fix hairline cracks on crocks by putting milk in it to prevent it from leaking krout juice. Super glue comes in so many applicaters now , it allows you to do a nice neat repair.
this was a hack that has been used ever since there was crockery made and fine china molded; it does work; and Superglue can not hold a candle to the process, because it does not bind the way casein does to the bisque in china
